Why do you not have no-fail on?

Maybe you can accept things and not see them as broken, but I can't.

I do have it on, because they made it easier to bottom out the meter this time around. This new fail-out system was meant for a tour.

Because nothing's broken. It's the same system they've had for six years, working exactly as intended.

If I've got a vase with flowers in it, it's not broken if I don't like how it looks. It's broken if it falls on the floor and breaks.

Exactly - the new direction might mean changing these fundamental mechanics.

And it works fine in the context of a rhythm game. It falls apart in the context of a band simulator.

Good thing it's not a band simulator, then.

The old tagline "Start a band, rock the world" sure hinted at "band simulator" to me.

'Meet The Beatles, Rock the World' doesn't make it a Beatles simulator.

Want a band simulator? Start a real band. Rock Band is a music rhythm game with 'band' as the general concept. It's not a simulator anymore than Guitar Hero ever was.

I don't get it. Why do you crap on my ideas? Sure, some of them are stinkers, but not all of them.
