This reminded me again why the Angry Smoke in the trainer sucks and needs to be toned down all the way. (Doesn't help that Pentatonic is an angry looking font to begin with.)

It's possible the "flames of failure" are simply there to make sure you know where you screwed up so you can, well, practice that part!

Angry Smoke, but don't worry, I've been getting it wrong for so long. RB2's trainer mistake notification effect was still better (and less angry).

Wild guess here. Is it because it feels good to take shots at me, and that the forum's gotta have a butt-of-all-jokes and I'm just as good as any other in that regard?

I actually haven't seen Lost, but a smoke monster attacking the player as a punishment for a mistake makes perfect sense, if it's a bit "disproportionate retribution".

In the "if ever there was an RB4" category, I'd love to have a "by date last played" music library sort. I'm sure this must have been suggested, but I'd also love to have a music store wishlist.

Many folks don't. Historically, folks don't even think to look till someone suggests it, and occasionally, even then they they deny it till they try and suddenly it's there.

I'm a little late to the party on this thread, and I apologize if these have been stated already. My two wishes are:

1) to be able to auto-download all or missing songs from library, I have 1,200+ songs and have moved over at least 4 consoles since RB1. Occasionally I'll get the unable to play song msg. I know I'm missing songs when in party mode.
2) to be able to export to xls or csv a listing of all the songs in my library. I organize many RB nights for corporate/personal events and copy/paste just doesn't cut it.

#1 is an issue for the consoles, not HMX. You can do a license migration, but only once every 6 months or so.

#2, check out dlcquickplay.com. It has that functionality, as well as exporting to a karaoke style kook.
