Would it be feasible to make the pause menus Transparent?

It’s probably been suggested before, but would it be feasible to make the pause menus Transparent?

It seemed like a minor (I'm only guessing here) fix to make our music tracks not Transparent when we had difficulty seeing the notes, so I'm thinking it might be as easy to make the Pause menus Transparent so we can see the notes behind.

This is your fault, HMX, you gave us Pro mode and now we want/NEED more. But THANK YOU just the same for unleashing our musical monsters.

I'm now taking real life drum lessons, with the intent to be a better RB drummer . Realistically, I'm a 61 yr old woman with no expectations of being the next great Rock Drummer, definitely not a threat to Neil! I just want to play my 1,350+ and growing library, as realistically as possible.

That said, I’m painfully learning to read music. I say painful cause Simon Says (RB charts) is so much easier for me right now. And of course I’m learning to count (no prior music training).

I find that even at 70% in the trainer, I am unable to effectively count. Thus my request to make the menus Transparent. If Transparent, it would be much easier to copy measures to a staff to practice at much slower tempos, with and without a metronome.

Thanks for listening, HMX. It would be nice if the trainers could be slowed down to 40/50%, but I would guess there is good reason for HMX to have omitted this feature in RB3. Baring slower trainers, I think Transparent pause menus would greatly facilitate our learning process.

    Thanks for listening!

Duhhh, I mean Transparent! Thanks skyttskytt!

You mean transparent. Opaque means you can't see through it.

    Wow, that is great!

    Thank you very much!

I've looked for tabs in the past but never found this RB specific site. I really appreciate the link.

The above Tab site is great!

Does anyone know of any sites that may show Open HI Hat notation?

Or any tricks to decipher random HH vs Ride?

In the past, I've been advise to simply listen, but I can't always tell and usually my amp is so loud I don't really hear the drum parts. ;0)

    My pipe dream:

RB2 is patched to work with RB3-era songs. The four basic instruments are playable, and the lip-sync is updated to match.

I can expect a Pink Floyd Rock Band complete with real live flying pigs, or the release of the Muse discography, before this, though.

This has probably DEFINITELY been mentioned before, but I'm not gonna scroll through all the pages to find it.

    System: Xbox 360
Songs: Surfing with the Alien, Caprici Di Diablo
Instrument: Doesn't matter, it does this with all of 'em (obv not vocals/keys)
Problem: Unless you pick the song as the first thing you do when you load up the game, it will freeze after difficulty selection. This forces you to turn off your xbox, then back on, reload the game and pick the song. This is the only way to play these songs and it is painfully annoying as i like to warm up with easier songs before attempting crazy stuff like this, so please fix it ASAP.

    Thanks for listening.

The solution was to make a setlist with something you'll skip anyway as the first song and then the game-freezing song, then just select "End Song" when you start the setlist to skip the song and play what you intended.

    Game: Rock Band 3
System: 360 (Technically, any of them, but the 360 will naturally hit this wall first.)
    Issue: 3,000 Song Limit

Request: The ability to 'omit' individual songs from downloaded packs

Okay, so I'm going to assume that the 3,000 Song Limit is an inevitable "wall" that can't be raised. Is there any way you could make it so you can select certain songs from packs (like the RB2 versions of Queen songs, etc) so they won't be loaded?

If you try and delete a song from a pack, you're required to delete the entire pack. Which can be a bit of a pain - especially if you'd just like to get rid of the one "Vocal Only" song from the Green Day export.

I suspect there might be some legal reasons why some packs need to remain packs, and the realistic answer is "only a few of you crazy kids will ever be hit by the 3,000 limit anyway, so we need to put our resources towards more practical projects," but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask.
