Chord numbering and breakneck speed made me play better.
It was just a dream, and I said I didn't think it would happen.
And why was this moved over to the Request a Feature thread, anyway? I was talking about what I dreamed about involving Rock Band's "Fundamental Creative Reinterpretation." Not what I wanted in Rock Band.
EDIT: It appears that my original post stayed, and his response got moved here. Now I'm even more confused.
Addicted to bad movies since 2008
Been playing since the game came out and have been wanting this for some time.
Maybe in a future Rock Band title you could have the Music video from the song being played but with the Players Band in place of the normal cast?
If you don't want to copy the Videos directly you could have a random video put together based off the songs theme or band's suggestion. Heck even having a video maker for songs so you could submit a made video based off a song you like would be a great addition.
Or maybe feature a title such as, Pink Floyd's the Wall where players can play through the songs and movie? Heavy Metal would be another really good one to do, having levels based of the Movie while you play the songs.
That's an useless and time consuming feature that would only benefit some songs.
They could do some better work on music videos instead of just flying guitars and smoke, aside for tweaking the random appearances to "not often", but adding the exact video of a particular song? The result would be awful.
DLC wishlist:
None.
Actually, I could see them selling the "original video" as an add-on to a song just like they already do for Pro Guitar/Bass. Doesn't mean I'd buy it, but I'd imagine some others would.
I actually thought he meant selecting the exact moves your character would perform. I know that attitude selection existed in RB1/2, but I was thinking being able to select about 2-4 moves from a small pool of moves for each directed cut.

Still...thank you for the music
I recently purchased Every Teardrop is a Waterfall, but have experienced a problem while playing it on Pro Drums.
Starting with the drums introduction with the kick notes, everything is fine, but once the song introduces the cymbals it doesn't recognize the kick notes and eventually stops recognizing the cymbals. I've checked the drum set and nothing seems to be wrong with it. I've even switched kick pedals and tried again and the same thing keeps happening.
Pro Guitar upgrade for "Band on the Run" please
When you checked the drum set, did you also check on the batteries, if it is a wireless drum kit?
The batteries were the first things I checked, no where close to dead.

I recently learned that in RB3, for the tops you can customize, you can do both the front and the back.
I would have known that sooner if they explicitly put it as "Customize Front" and "Customize Back". That way, some items could be customized on one side only if it wouldn't be logical to customize the other side.
