I forgot to point out that when the audio glitch happened during get up, stand up it was keys, bass, and vocals. during rock lobster it was just keys.

Bug: Occasionally, in mid-song, the game makes a very loud glitchy sound for about a second or two. Some describe it as a Star Wars sound but it sounds sort of like an old 56k modem to me. Everything else seems to work fine before and after the sound and the songs do not stop or pause when this happens. But the sound is loud enough to possibly cause speaker damage if I have the volume up at a decent level. It's very startling and obviously very, very wrong.

Others have posted about the issue on gamefaqs.com: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/97147...and-3/56912440
Please don't tell me that this bug is back in RB3. I had this happen in RB2 a half dozen times and I too was worried about speaker damage. It is EXTREMELY loud and not a part of the song at all.

The only glitch that I have noticed in RB3 so far is the vocal overdrive. I am on the PS3 and it is nearly impossible to deploy the overdrive. Whenever it does work, it happens before a stretch of no phrases, so it is pretty much useless.

Oh, and please bring back the Mic Sensitivity adjustment option.

Who the effin hell thought the string sound for navigating through the song list with guitar WAS NOT annoying as hell?!!!?

I reckon I need to turn off background noise next time. Hope that effin takes care of it.

I'm pretty sure you can turn those off via one of the sound settings, not sure which one though.

Same problem here. Using 360 and "pitch correction" and cannot get the vocal overdrive to activate.

Is the problem still there if "pitch correction" is turned off?

    System: PS3

Am I the only one here who gets enormous amount of lag, not during the songs? I mean, when I play the songs, it goes smoothly. That is, when I can play. Just now, the game froze after the intro cinematic. As if my PS3 had too many things to load. Oh, and talking about things to load, it freezes and unfreezes in the customization store as hell, wondering why HMX changed all this.

I've tried vox OD activation with and without Pitch Correction active. Made no difference.

I too run on the PS3, I've not experienced any of the things you've mentioned (although I've only played about an hour since purchase).

I think both the "difficulty activating overdrive on vocals" and "loud random noises during gameplay" problems on PS3 might be attributed to having a PS Eye and the game picking up its microphone as input:

-creates feedback loops, which gets increasingly loud and sounds kinda like a modem
-counts as a 2nd mic, so the game is looking for input on BOTH mics to activate overdrive.

can sufferers of either of these problems confirm that they have a PS Eye?
