A very minor bug. When I exported the Blitz tracks to RB3, I think some of the sorting stuff was off. I organized it by "Date aquired" and several songs were missing. At first I thought the export had screwed up and left me without a few songs but they were there, just not classified as newly acquired. I had to scroll down and organize by artist to find them. I believe the songs were Death on Two Legs, Always, Cult of Personality, Bang Your Head and the Fallout Boy one.

Hadn't heard that before, but it does explain it pretty well. Thanks!

Unfortunately, doesn't explain why that sorting is implemented in such an annoying way, but what can you do. (besides impotent complaining in this forum, I mean)

It has to be something very difficult to do anything about given their data scheme on the Xbox or I should think they'd have fixed it.

I keep a list of my DLC sorted by date on my PC which I've transferred to my tablet for easy reference while I'm playing. It's annoying to have to do, but before I did it I was constantly forgetting that I'd purchased some songs after they slid out of that most recent 20.

It was something that happened as part of the fix to get some of the songs that weren't showing up on the 360 (a Tenacious D song, and a few others).

Either way, it's only the second time since RB3 launch that that limit has been exceeded in a single release, so it's not really a huge deal.

    I can finally articulate this:

The genre labeling would be pretty much meaningless, if it wasn't also used for automatically generated challenges. These are the future of goals, etc.

Now, I won't buy mislabeled songs because they will wreck these challenges.

Also, I read something about silver medalists being unhappy while bronze medalists are happier.

The same effect happens in Rock Band. I get "Great Solo" or 3.5/4.5 stars, I'm quite happy that I did that well. I get "Awesome Solo" or 3.9/4.9 stars, I'm royally pissed that I just wasn't good enough to nail the solo or clinch that last star.

    Downward vs. upward comparison.

Maybe not to you, but I'd pay the price of the game again for the ability to sort my entire library of DLC by date.

I was referring to the 20 limit, I said nothing about dates.
