Talked to WB support on Friday and was told to call back Saturday to escalate my issue if the website was still broken.
Called this morning; the rep I talked to said he wasn't sure if they would be able to help me without a receipt for a game I bought on release day Nov. 3rd.
Got an e-mail shortly after the call informing me my case had been escalated and I would be receiving a response shortly. Been about three hours since.
Here's to hoping everything works out for everyone.

EA empaled me and told me to contact* legorockband_support@aginc.com I did this yesterday and tried again just now, this email address no longer seems to be working, maybe the mailbox is full with all the emails from everyone having this issue.

I just tried this same thing 20 minutes ago, just did it with rockband 2 and then just tried lego so i can have all my songs together and now my code is BROKEN! i sent an email to WB, but i dont still have my god damned receipt. This better get resolved, and i better get a working export key![]()
Just wanted to sign in and report the same issue, entered my code, now it's invalid. I take it there's still no resolution?
Glad I'm not the only one having the issue. And I bought this game new....receipt? Yeah right. I never used the code for RB2, but wanted it for RB3. This stinks. I have an email in, I'll update when I find out what they tell me.

This occurs when you have actually successfully redeemed the code, but because of issues with the browser, such as using ad-blocking software that blocks the display of the code or generates an error that the code is invalid, or an issue with the website, the code is not displayed.
Also please note in your reply what platform this was for (PS3 or Xbox 360)
Please note that rented copies or used copies are not eligible for a code. The code is only provided for the original purchaser of a new game purchase. Please provide the following in order to obtain a code.
a. A dated proof of purchase (receipt, invoice) showing the purchase of a NEW copy of the game(not a rented or used copy, nor a copy purchased from Ebay).
b. Your gamertag for Xbox Live, or your profile for the PSN.
c. Your email address
d. A scan of the package and game disc(s).
e. A scan of your code

He also said that it does not matter if you got it used or not to send in either a scan or a digital pic of decent quality of the things asked and it should be fine. Since they dropped the ball on this im guessing they better wave the 10 dollar fee
There's no reason to think HMX isn't going to do the right thing here. Its just going to take a few days. They are going above and beyond with RB2 which is more directly in their control. Lego clearly had a stupid system and there's no good excuse but because there are two companies involved that share support it will take more time to coordinate the proper response. It's Sunday night so don't expect a resolution before mid-day on Monday. Once the site is working if you are still having problems you should probably email redemption@rockband.com rather than the Lego support email.
