Pints of New Castle not included

    Produced by Brad Cook(Foo Fighters,Tom Jones,Nick Oliveri,Living Dead Lights,Kyuss and many more)

There is nothing cute, pompous, or pretentious about Dirty Filthy Mugs. They are here to play aggressive, fun, honest punk rock... And that's exactly what they do!

Not only are the Mugs one of the most insane live bands in punk rock, they've also shown themselves to be prolific in the recording studio. In 2009, they released the E.P.s 'Half Pint' and 'Another Round' as well as a 7" single on their own label, Brrapp Records. These releases and live shows caught the attention of DC-Jam Records, who released the Mugs' first full-length 'All Yobs In' in early 2010. In October, they became the first band to have a release on Blank TV's new label, Patient Zero Records.

Dirty Filthy Mugs show no signs of slowing and will be releasing a new full-length album in February, 2011 while continuing to bring their incredibly addictive live punk mayhem to as many punks, skins, skaters, psychos, mods, rockers, hooligans and outcasts as possible!

    Jon Howard - vocals
    Raymond Hererra - drums
    Pat Kavanagh - bass
    Christian Olde Wolbers - guitars

A dangerous new machine has come to life. Combine one of metal's hungriest young singers, Jon Howard from Threat Signal, with gold-selling Fear Factory architects, guitarist/bassist Christian Olde Wolbers and drummer Raymond Herrera, and you get ARKAEA, a new band that's volatile, violent and vicious. The band also enlisted Threat Signal bassist Pat Kavanagh. Like the bludgeoning "My Redemption" and "Awakening". mechanized thrash riffs and pummeling percussion forge a musical foundation for all-out metallic brutality. Wolbers guitars snake through a haze of feedback, while Herrera engages in drum warfare. The grooves hit hard with a piercing precision, and the vocals remain infectious, as each song proves a battle-cry for these musicians. "Gone Too Far" builds with a polyrhythmic, math metal strike, while "Blackened Sky" is a thrashy icepick of a track. Ultimately, this is more than a new machine; it¹s a metal revolution.

Howard describes ARKAEA’s familiar, yet innovative sound: “Chris and Ray have been writing together for many years, so the music does have a lot of Fear Factory elements. However, we’ve been open to trying different things. It basically fuses what I have been doing vocally in Threat Signal with driving Fear Factory rhythms, along with some of our own experimentation. The idea behind the project is to be heavy, but maintain melody at the same time. We have crazy riffs, but some grooving choruses as well. It’s a great mix.”

The band’s experimentation also proves extremely refreshing. “Gone Tomorrow” is a slow, brooding song that shows ARKAEA’s range and diversity by combining ethereal melodies and hypnotic vocals. Wolbers continues, “These songs were designed like the Fear Factory songs that Raymond and I always wrote. However, we’ve been able to push the boundaries and go out of that context, while remaining heavy.”

    Deadlock

    The Brave/The Agony Applause

Deadlock are a German melodic death metal band that combine metal with the harsh atmospheric nature of today’s modern sounds.

Founded in the later half of 1997, Deadlock took their time to find a solid line-up and the right attitude towards cultivating a sound all their own. After their first self-titled 7 Inch was released, the band gained further attention with their MCD "I’ll Wake You When Spring Awakes". The quintet started to include keyboards and clean female vocals to their songs during the period of their release “The Arrival.” This period saw Deadlock reach new levels, while establishing their own brutal and blistering metal-sound. In 2003 the split release with Six Reasons to Kill proved the band's ability to develop their skills to a higher level. Deadlock’s Lifeforce Records debut Earth.Revolt was well received among press and fans alike, because of its balanced mixture of fast and virtuous guitar work, their slowed-down atmospheric parts as well as the strong connection between music and lyrics.

Since the band’s 2005 Lifeforce Records debut Earth.Revolt a lot has happened to further their sound and character. After more than six years of collaborations with vocalist Sabine Weniger (previously in a part-time capacity), 2006 saw her angelic voice and presence become a permanent fixture in the Deadlock member ranks. The full time addition of Sabine helped to invigorate and strengthen the band’s outlook, creatively and musically. Deadlock are extremely determined now to make an album of epic proportions with their 2007 follow up album “Wolves.” This album builds upon their signature paths of virtuous keyboard overkills, bombastic orchestral sections and lead guitar-attacks of previous albums while bringing a reinforced technical approach. Combined with Sabine’s highly acclaimed voice in a full time capacity, “Wolves” adds a deeper dimension to their music and creates a presence that is very unique in the metal scene today.

They released a new Album called "Manifesto" in 2008. It continues their style from "Wolves", and adds even more Genre Mixes (like some Rap parts in Death Race, for example).
