    Cool.

I'm just REEEEEEEEEEALLY anxious to see if it's gonna be War or not. Seemed highly possible with the keys and popularity.

So I am really stoked to anounce after 15 years Citizen Pain is back ! ASP will be bringing some of there tunes to the RBN!

    http://citizenpain.com/bio

Roughly 15 years ago we would start tracking the songs that would bring Citizen Pain full circle, songs that encompassed all of our influences, experiences, hopes and failures. These were the songs that spoke to us, said (finally) we had arrived and the world was ready.

    And then it was over.

Citizen Pain started ironically from the “ashes” of a band called Incinerate. We were teenage friends who came together over the love of thrash, and the desire to rock. CP allowed us to take that love and grow, as people, musicians and friends. As the band progressed, so did our interests and influences, which is how we got involved in the NJ hardcore scene. We released our second recording session as our first 3-song demo, then a 6-song cassette, followed by a 2-song 7”.

But it was after that 7” was released that a change was about to occur that changed the band completely. Ben took over vocals, Bryan (of NJ punk band Anger) came in as second guitarist, and a new CP sound was created. Not quite hardcore, not quite thrash, but heavy and heartfelt. We recorded another 3-song demo that got noticed immediately. That demo got the interest of a record label overseas, and things looked promising.

In June of 1996 we started recording the songs for the CD we called “A Season In Hell” as a tribute to the movie Eddie and the Cruisers. In the movie, the band recorded their final album and the lead singer faked his own death before it was released. Oddly enough, our CD also never saw the light of day. The European deal fell through (the label wound up putting us on a compilation, but we did not want to waste our ASIH recordings as part of a comp so we gave the label the 3-song demo plus 2 other songs from another session), the band self destructed, and that was it.

Fast forward to 2010. Ben and I decided to transfer all of our Citizen Pain analog master tapes to digital, and in doing so rediscovered these songs. We decided we needed to let CP live once again by remixing, remastering and reworking “A Season In Hell” and let the songs finally be heard. -Jeremy

    Eminence

Out Today on the RBN for X-Box Catch them on the Guns at Dawn Tour!

    Website - http://www.eminence.com.br/
    preview - http://youtu.be/McSczKfAvVk
    Band Vid - http://youtu.be/KLvw-MB8sWA

    Alan Wallace - Guitars

    Andre Marcio – Drums

    Bruno Paraguay – Vocals

    Bernardo Gosaric – Bass

Since they were founded in Belo Horizonte/Brazil by the guitarist Alan Wallace in January 1995, the members of Eminence have been riding high in the local Underground scene.
Through a large national following as well as their overseas fanbase, Eminence were asked to participate in the top countrywide music contest, SKOL ROCK. Representatives from major labels and other music media outlets including MTV, Warner Music and many more voted the band winners in the state competition and third overall in the national event. This was a major achievement for a Heavy Metal band facing competition from the more mainstream genre’s such as Pop, Blues and Rock ’n’ Roll that always get the major attention from the mass media in Brazil.
Working on independent production and promotion the band toured Holland and Belgium between September and December of ’98 getting a lot of very positive reviews for their performances.
On their return to Brazil they completed the album Chaotic System which was released and distributed independently.
Playing festivals and supporting overseas bands they were starting to see all the hard promotion work pay off. They were beginning to get noticed on the international stage and a license agreement with Diamond Records to distribute Chaotic System in more than 15 European countries was soon to follow.
In 2004 the band signed a Deal with Timeless Production from Switzerland to release the Album Humanology produced by Neil Kernon( Cannibal Corpse, Nevermore, Judas Priest).
The band line up and performances have drawn the positive attention of audiences as well as the media in all the countries they have played.
