Well it looks like our worst fears have been founded.

When the switch was flipped to integrate Rock Band and Rock Band Network content into the new Rock Band 3 store, it reset all the old download information.

So the top 25 is based off sales since Rock Band 3 updated last week.

Here's a link to the original thread if anyone is still interested in it, but we're going to have to start over with a new list as of this week, as any sales prior to RB3's release last tuesday seem to have been wiped out.

Well that's good to know.

I always use the 360 Live stores on the console, and I checked all four of them (RB1, RB2, RB3, and the RB Store) and all of them had the rankings I used for this thread.

I wonder what's going on with the difference between the Dashboard rankings and the marketplace.xbox.com rankings. I checked marketplace.xbox.com this morning, and it has the Doors DLC and "Subdivisions", so it's clearly being updated, but the Best Selling list is still in the old order, with the free songs up top, etc.

I wonder in the Dashboard best selling results are the daily best sellers rather than the all time best sellers. Between the marketplace website not working entirely correctly on my iPad and xbox.com being blocked by my work computer, I can't check now, but I will take a look tonight if no one else has by then.

On the list above, I'm really impressed by the staying power of Don't Stop Believing and Lady Gaga.

I would guess the bottom 25, and in fact a lot more than the bottom 25, are songs that are in fact tied for last place with zero sales. I can't imagine every song has been bought at least once since the wipe.

Hah nice, animal made it! I grabbed that song asap solely for vocals even though I hardly ever sing and don't currently have a microphone lol

I've been wanting to grab Trippin and Bleed American, but I'm always hesitant to buy stuff from a pack...what if I decide I want the whole thing later?

I was thinking that. If I lived in the states I'd test it by buying something.
