A little surprised that Staying Alive outsold the pack, but both did very well.

Noble, I think that the xbox.com version (the one Casto uses) is more accurate than relying on the console charts now, don't you think? The console charts are all messed up and don't reflect the actual overall sales, when compared to RB1 and RB2 era DLC.
[ ] U2 [ ] Sheryl Crow [ ] Cracker [ ] Springsteen [ ]The Pogues
[ ] Cage the Elephant [ ] Neil Young [ ] P-Funk [ ] Heart [X]RUN-DMC [X] MeatLoaf
Yeah the charts were all over the place this week.
Starting Sunday I'm going to try to find something on the xbox that reflects overall sales, and not what appears to be just week to week sales (as the RB3 list seems to be doing).
So I'm going to skip this week in the hopes of finding something more overall instead of weekly.

I think more likely, it got reset on the system, but not the website. I liked both, as it was "life of Rock Band" vs "Since RB3", the second of which would be all over the place for the first 3 months. I love getting both. Any chance you could try to keep both? Or is that asking too much?
On a side note, I love your avatar.

LOL Because of that forum Judas Priest pack 01 and British Steel album selled really badly, just because everyone went crazy that these are live pack. And only song that is really affected by it is Breaking the Law, and its only awful on vocals, instrumentally its better than album version. I hate you. We might not get more Judas Priest because of all your hate. And Prophecy (live) is one of best metal songs avaible as DLC for me.
If this forum actually had influence, RB3 might have had a cut in sales due to all the "boycotters". But no, it's still somewhat healthy, and we essentially mean nothing in the grand scheme of things.
On topic; I'm not so surprised Stayin' Alive did better than the overall pack, as most likely many people only have heard Stayin' Alive compared to the other songs.
Perhaps the reason they sold poorly is that the Rock Band Metal Lovers are a very vocal, but small group of players. Look at this older all time list:
Top 25 downloaded tracks(or packs/albums) of all time over xbox Live as of 10/25/10
1 - Still Alive
2 - Promised Land
3 - Charlene (I'm right Behind you)
4 - Headphones on
5 - All the Small Things
6 - Move Along
7 - Dirty Little Secret
8 - The Kill
9 - Buddy Holly
10 - B.Y.O.B. - Up 1
11 - Metallica pack 01 - Down 1
12 - Don't Stop Believing
13 - Jukebox hero
14 - Toxicity
15 - Crushcrushcrush
16 - Fortunate son
17 - Interstate Love song
18 - Wonderwall
19 - Snow((Hey Oh))
20 - Dreaming of Love
21 - More Than a feeling
22 - Afterlife
23 - My Sharona
24 - Gimme three steps
25 - Under the Bridge
And no. Nu-Metal is not true, classic Metal.

Dont compare RB3 situation with DLC, most people who buy DLC look on these forum, and it was liek: OH GOD, THEY DESTROYED BRITISH STILL WITH LIVE VERSIONS BOOO DONT BUY IT!
And RB3 is whole game, people on forum write that they dont like some aspects of it but noone says to boicot it. And I remember many topics about boicoting live versions after British steel DLC was announced. Oh and I dont think metal lovers are so into vocals, just look what people choose in online play...
