RB3 Petition: Remove/Increase Character Limit

I know several folks have said "Why do you need more than 4?"

Answers:

1. People who host parties where people want their own character
2. Some people enjoy making new characters to change up the band, or just match their mood.

For #1, this is doubly important for PS3 folks, who can only use 1 profile at a time, and still somewhat important for Wii folks who are limited by 4 profiles.

Are there more important issues? Yes. However, the hope is that this is an easy fix, as it may simply be a programmed limit, and it does limit the enjoyment of a lot of people just as much as some of the bugs or other issues do as well.

Absolutely yes. I have more than 20 friends that wanna come at my home and play with their customized characters. I seriously don't get this software limitation... it was really fun to see a new band every time, and with the new engine allowing to change charachter whenever you want, that would really be awesome.

I agree with you too, I mean cmon the game cover has 5 people on it. Why not ingame? I wouldn't mind adding another toon, and the Career and Quickplay Modes should allow 5+ players at once too.

This is about character creation, not characters playing. While I agree with you here too, that's an entirely different ball of wax, and has been addresses as not possible at the moment by HMX,who had trouble getting AIM to work.

Putting a limit of how many characters you can have reaks of bad programming. The answer of creating another profile is a joke, what a retarted answer to something that people obvisouly care about. I personally don't have the need for more characters, but I do think the limit should be removed for those that do want/need it removed. Options are good, being forced into someone elses idea of what things should be is bad!

I've mentioned this on a few threads here before and I certainly think this is something for Harmonix to fix for us. With everything else in the game being upgraded and improved, I don't understand why the character limit would be downgraded so badly. Increasing the limit or removing it would be so great. If there was a way to save character data separate from the game data, you could take up as much of your hard drive space as you like and I would greatly appreciate it. Pump up the number to 40 or 50 maybe (though I know that may be asking for a lot). My family and I love making characters based all sorts of things.

Also on a character note, hair color needs to be two-toned again. The "Contrast Fringe" hairstyle is no longer a "contrast" fringe at all. It's a "Single-Colored Fringe." :P Many of the old hairstyles should be two-toned again. My girl with black hair and bright red highlights just isn't the same anymore... Please Harmonix. Also more clothes would be nice, like formal wear (gowns and tuxedos) and sandals (flip flops and casual strappy shoes). I'll stop here though to keep the focus on the character limit but I thought I'd drop a few more suggestions in there for any HMX folks that read this.
