Lego Rock Band Export

Ok so i rented lego rock band hoping to export the tracks to rb3. but i find out the code has already been used. So this is what i dont understand. Why is the code given with game only able to use once. If they allowed us to use the code multiple times and give a unique code from the other one to be used once they would increase their number of sales on exports. which in the end gives them more money. There must be lots of people out there who tried this and said F*%$ this after realizing this problem. Harmonix you lost my ten bucks now. Im not buy this game only for the export.

Harmonix doesn't make any money on used games. Only the store you bought it from does.

Allowing codes to be used multiple times would actually lose them money, not gain it. If one person got it, they could give it to their friends and let them export as well, potentially losing Harmonix tons of sales. If you're too cheap to afford the $20-30 bucks for it, then too bad for you.

ok but if those people who get codes from others most likely would not buy the game just for dlc. so its a gamble i guess which is more successful but i believe that way i mentioned above would out way the other. O well i dont care that much. just a little peeved.
