I use it mostly for keeping in touch with people that are hard to stay in contact with. Like when most of my bros go away on navy deployment, it is a lot easier to talk to them from Myspace then it is to talk to them via mail. Since Myspace was before Facebook (or at least more people know about it) all of my friends got a Myspace.

i myspace for the same reason. i keep my profile private and only add ppl that i know in real life. i used to move around a LOT so it is very hard keeping in touch with ppl you don't see on a regular basis. i was very anti-myspace at first (tried to get everyone on friendster) but everyone has myspace so i had no choice but to switch over.
