I agree it could get boring... Thats why I'm trying to look for songs where the band keeps going and not huge solo parts from the violin or horns... I think Ants Marching would be great, same with Crush. The Stone and Halloween are darker, powerful songs that I think would fit the "Rock Band" image a little better.

But the drums... That's all I wanna do is play the drums

Please, just humor us... Talk with DMB, create a 3 song DLC pack...

    Tripping Billies
    Ants Marching
    Crush

Its three songs that all DMB fans, casual and hardcore, know and respect. Not to mention the drums... If you are worried about guitar solos, get a live release from DMB with Tim Reynolds guesting.

DMB is my favorite band of all time and I would love to see some DMB DLC, but for me it wouldn't feel right if I was playing a studio version of the song. I listen to them ALL the time, but can't remember the last time I intentionallly listend to a studio album unless it was just released. But since the release of the Live at Leeds songs, theres hope that they could release some live DLC. So here's my wishlist of a Live DMB DLC (from already officially released shows/compilations):

Any one of these would make insanely happy, and I think they'd all translate over to Rock Band pretty well.

So Much To Say -> ASTB -> Too Much (Central Park)
    Cornbread (Live at Piedmont Park)
    Joyride (Live Trax 2)
Two Step (Live Trax 7) especially you could play Bela's solo or Thunderstorm Two Step (BOWA)
Dancing Nancies->Warehouse (Live at Red Rocks)
Either of the '06 Warehouses (BOWA or Live Trax 6)
The Stone (Live Trax 8 or Weekend on The Rocks)
Tripping Billies (Live Trax 6 or Piedmont Park Bonus Disc)
Grey Street (Central Park or Llive Trax 8)
Sweet Up and Down (Piedmont Park Bonus Disc)
What Would You Say (Live In Chicago)
Drive In, Drive Out (Live Trax 1)
Halloween (Recently or Live Trax 9)
    #41 (LIstener Supported)
    JTR (Live Trax 3)
    Ants Marching (Central Park)
    Everyday (Weekend on The Rocks)
Granny (Live Trax 8) Starts out slow, but by the end I think it would be fun
Jimi Thing (Central Park, if only for the scat)
    Hello Again (Live Trax 8)
Lie In Our Graves with Bela again (Live Trax 7)
PNP->Rapunzel (Live In Chicago or Live Trax 6)
and if there must be a Crash Into Me, then I'd go with the one on the stand up bonus disc.
