Easiest fix for that one would be to make it impossible to fail if someone is running OD. Might make it a little easier to pass, but no-fail is allowed anyway.
Pause exploit was a solid step; sounds like it's a fixed number that doesn't depend on the duration of the song, but still a good step forward.

Fair enough, for Vocal OD, if you have it, you have it, if you don't, you don't and some don't. My point was they are likely a little more elusive to pin down than the average bug, er feature. It irks me when HMX gets a patch out that fixes some serious features and a lot of the threads are, you forgot about blah and what about bleh and you said you were working on blech.
I wasn't trying to minimize those issues, I know they're there, HMX knows they're there and me, you and HMX wants them fixed.

Fun play on hard/expert BASS/guitar and drums, vocals, don't ask.
This is both good and bad. Good that they're working on it (which I never doubted), but bad that the keyboard audio glitch is still there. I'm not mad out of impatience, I'm just worried. I'm sure it's considered a P1 bug, and that they've already tried to fix it. They couldn't figure it out, and that doesn't look good for the future.
Will this also affect the trainers? Apparently you can pause them and get ready for next chord or hand position and then resume. Granted it's not that easy to coordinate pausing and unpausing, but it does seem a bit unfair and cheatish. Pausing in mid phrase should disable passing the current phrase.
Actually did you know that the Rock Band 3 disc fixes a bunch of stuff even for DLC? See: Aesthetics of Hate on guitar.
Aesthetics of Hate has the wrong hammer-on threshold set in the meta-data. RB3 deliberately overrides this and sets it to a sensible value, which fixes the chart so hammer-ons appear correctly instead of the vast majority of the song being strummed.
A patch could theoretically do something similar for the songs from DLC week 96 that are broken on the Xbox 360.

{Glances thru pages of posts thanking HMX for fixes while still complaining about non-fixed bugs and assuming said bugs are "less important" when they are actually just harder to fix and will take more time. Rolls eyes and realizes common sense is no longer common.}
Thanks for the hard work, HMX! It is much appreciated.
But I believe in this and it's been tested by research: he who [edit] nuns will later join the church.

I'm still hoping they fix the problem with devil tier RBN songs showing as 5 dots. Currently, when I'm in the store and I see a song that has 5 dots, it could really be one of the hardest songs in the game to play.

The problem that still bothers me the most is the what seems to be a glitch with PRO Drums. Every so often i'll get what seems to be a forced overhit. The reason I know it can't be static overhitting is because I don't have this problem on regular drums. If you watch the video linked above at 2:00 you'll see the combo was dropped without any other pad being activated. I slowed the video down frame by frame and cannot spot any pad that was registered to cause an overhit. This is really annoying especially if it starts happening every other song. I've tested my cymbals extensively and i'm 80% sure it's not a problem with my cymbals, or else I should've at least been able to see another pad being regsitered to cause an overhit in the video. I'm not sure if its coincidence but the problem has seemed to get a little worse since the patch. I would appreciate it if Harmonix could look into this.
