Yep, Ring of Fire is awesome, but literally the only song I'm interested in at this point. It'll be a tough wait for it to get a DLC release, but unless the final few songs are all really good ones, I will be waiting.
Still, Johnny effin' Cash! It's about friggin' time!!

I haven't been to impressed with Harmonixs country choices bruther. Give us some Hank Williams Jr, Charlie Daniels, Charlie Pride, Garth Brooks, and Conway Twitty. Give us some real country music bruther.

Maybe it hadn't. Not sure, and it's certainly not worth my time to re-read the whole thread to see.

Still, it'd make sense that it'd be cheaper, considering a RB1-based track pack engine already exists.

    Settlin' by Sugarland (Ain't Settlin')
The One You Lean On - Dan Timinski (The One You Lean On)

Since most of those were so recent, maybe the bands/labels gave Harmonix the songs to plug the new material. Particularly in the case of Disturbed and Avenged Sevenfold; I don't think Harmonix went out of their way to license songs they hadn't even heard yet. Or maybe they found it easier to release songs that were strong enough on the four existing parts than avoid songs with any traces of keyboard or harmonies for the better part of two years.

Yeah, I was curious about the logic behind that.

I don't see how there would be much difference, aside from the obvious additional music stems that would be charted.
    Songs: 904 (That RB3 recognizes)

    Johnny Cash!

Just looking at the track list for the Country Track Pack 2 and saw that Johnny Cash was on there! That in itself has made me want to purachase the pack despite not being too fond of Country music so big up to HMX for finally getting Cash into RB!

I hope that Dwight Yoakam's (alleged) inclusion in this Track Pack leads to more DLC from him. He's probably one of the most legitimately rockin' "country" artists out there. Plus, he's been one of my most requested peeps for a long time.

Just to point something out here: The Disturbed pack for the new album actually came out before the album officially launched. I know this since I bought both the album and the pack the day they came out ( I actually got the album pre-order a day before it officially came out) and I remember hearing "The Animal" for the first time on rock band then getting the album a few days later.
