There are third party ones you can get at Gamestop (for example). It works for both Wii and Gamecube, so there is still a market for them. Got a brand new one for $20.

Happens to lots of new games. Probably more so for this one, since they are planning on making many updates.

I don't find updating and installing a hassle on my 360. It's quick, easy, and gives me some time to glance over the instruction manual (which are getting smaller and smaller, unfortunately)

On my PS3 on the other hand, I curse every second of it. It's a tremendous pain in the ass on the PS3.

This definitely seems the way design is nowadays. Buying Soul Calibur 5 on launch day, I took it home, threw it in the XBox and voila! "Would you like to install the update?"

Oh, and as for new games played, I got into the Guild Wars 2 beta last weekend. If you're an MMOG player and you're sick of the current design philosophies of the genre, then you'll want to check this game out when it launches. It is cooooool.

Well I would buy Minecraft Xbox, but thanks to Trials Evolution, I have no money. I don't even know if I have the HD space for it (I'd imagine that Minecraft is fricking HUUUUUUGE). And even if I did have the money, I'm leaving for vacation on Friday anyway, so I wouldn't have time to play it until I get back anyway.
