Well, I'm sure glad I posted that major story spoiler in black text =\

I know it's been out several months, but still, don't quote black text! Come on.

    Gracias.

Sorry if it came off snappish, I just like to err on the side of caution. If this were a dedicated AC thread, it wouldn't be such a big deal (considering it came out six months ago) but it's still quite possible people haven't played it but mean to. And that spoiler is quite a doozy (though it was hinted at pretty strongly, getting it absolutely confirmed like that kinda knocked my socks off).

One campaign to go. Let's recap:

Jake's campaign was pretty decent. Pretty varied, took good advantage of co-op and Jake's martial arts never really got old. So it was still a lot better than Resi 5.

Chris' was bloody awful. Generic yet sloppy cover shooting, not nearly as good as any Gears or even this year's Binary Domain. And that's before you run out of ammo. Simply put, having to sit there for two minutes, waiting for your AI partner to shoot a helicopter down, in unacceptable.

Leon's was just okay. The pacing was alright and ammo was less of an issue, although the setpieces got more annoyingly distracting as it went on.

Can it finish strong? I don't know, but a prospective review in 24 hours should let you know.

Oh, and one of the main bad guys is named Derek. A parable for these boards??

Awesome. My name rarely shows up in games. Haven't really been around since I starred in Under the Knife 1 and 2.

    Borderlands 2

Saw a couple load outs of some level 50s. The Bee shield is broken as hell but probably really fun to one shot bosses like Terramorphus.
