It's not really known that there was a huge human-animal hybrid population during the Mexican revolution so that is in fact accurate.

1/3 of Pancho Villa's men were in fact centaurs.

Okay, so for the past several weeks I've been trying to play these Sonic games some kid at school lent me, trying to tell me how awesome they are. Well, here's my summary of the ones that were included:

    Sonic Adventure

I get what Sega was going for here, and it seems like a really fun premise. I did enjoy a few moments here and there while zipping around 3D landscapes. However, the game focuses too much on enemy bashing and precision platforming to really be a winner in my book. Plus, the camera isn't always your best friend here.

    Sonic Adventure 2

While there are bits here that were fixed from the first (I had less camera issues for example) it was just more of the same. Granted the first did have some fun moments, but this isn't that big a step up.

    Sonic Heroes

I didn't have much fun here. Granted it's not horrible, but it just seemed dull to me. The teamwork thing is an interesting concept, but it seems more tedious than fun to go into a segment where you have to use a specific character's ability every five seconds, especially when switching takes too damned long before being bombarded with missiles. Levels are the slightest bit more linear here as well.

    Shadow the Hedgehog

Never mind the fact that it's a Sonic game with guns and vehicular segments, this game is freaking frustrating. The camera wants you dead, the controls want you dead, and even the people you help want you dead. The plot, which is supposed to be the main draw here, is so full of contradictions and plot holes that if you were to be interested in this game for plot alone, I recommend something with a better plot system. Like anything else ever.

Sonic The Hedgehog (The Infamous Sonic '06)

What needs to be said that hasn't been said. THIS IS SONIC '06! BEHOLD IT'S VILE GLORY! No one needs to explain to you why this game is bad. It's possibly the worst piece of s*** I've ever seen. Nothing is worth this pain. And to think people defend this treacherous pile of unlawful garbage makes me question humanity as a whole.

    Sonic Unleashed

I kinda half like this one. The daytime levels are fast and fun; what I'd like to think of a Sonic game. Hell, the plot is enjoyably lulzy, and it's fun counting all the way it rips off The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. But the nighttime stages are where this game takes a giant s*** on itself. It's like God of War were stripped down of it's appeal (gore and overall fun) and instead featured the same two music tracks over... and over... and OVER AND OVER AND OVER! I swear, I can recreate the fight music with a trumpet by now. It's half good, but half bad. I honestly don't know what to tell you. Also, Eggman's Park level is probably the most masochistic thing in the series outside of playing Sonic '06.

    Sonic Generations

This was almost worth the rest of the series. This game is actually the highlight of the non-rhythm/action games I've played since the Xbox 360 came out. It took the really fun daytime levels from Sonic Unleashed as well as classic Sonic gameplay, made them the focus, and made them even better. I can excuse the barely existent plot (no, I take that back, I THANK Sega for leaving plot out of this mostly, since the last few plots were laughable). The levels span most of the Sonic series and actually made the levels I disliked in other games fun. I recommend this game as a rental once you're finally done with your Skyrim or Medal of Duty or whatever the kids today are playing.

    ...

Overall it ranches from mediocre to the worst thing ever, but Sonic Generations is actually some of the most fun I had in a while. I recommend that game, but not the others.

So Bioshock Infinite came out today~! I picked it up along with the limited edition guide, and season pass for DLC (which I basically got for free)~.. played for a couple of hours so far and it's really awesome. I can't wait until the story really starts to pick up steam, since it's basically just the introductory part right now.

Started playing Super Hexagon I know I'm late to the party, but man that game is phenomenal. Also started Antichamber <3

Will start Infinite today, I have to confess the only reason I bought was because of the XCom deal on Steam prior to hearing about that I was seriously contemplating checking out the ending and/or twist cause I just know the game isn't for me.

I've been trying to get into Hitman:Absolution, but I think I'm going to simply stop playing. It's not that it's a bad game, but I'm not really in the mood for a stealth game right now, especially not one as strict as this one.

Not sure what to do next. On the one hand, I could start my second Skyrim run. On the other hand, Okami and The Cave will be out on PS+ next week. Choices, choices.

Tomb raider is a game I've wanted to play for a long time. Fun, action packed and makes you feel terrible if you get it wrong. But I can't help but feel it's a little inconsistent with Lara's character. One minute she's having the worst time of her life, then she's headshot-ing bad guys with a bow.... Odd

Rocksmith on the PC... Why couldn't the console version work like this?!?! Even has audio previews in the store. Amazing!

The Cave, while really fun, is fairly short.

Though I do tend to like stealth-flavored games I don't keep up with the series, but I think I've played the first 3 or so levels of each Hitman game without feeling the desire to go any further.

Played a tiny bit of the new Bioshock last night and it's looking very promising, though the NPC's could definitely have used a little more work. It wouldn't be so obvious if the rest of the game wasn't so pretty though.

I'm all about Nintendo stuff lately, going back and playing Wii stuff that I never completed such as Mario Galaxy and Zelda: Skyward Sword. I've also been playing on 3DS quite a bit since Fire Emblem came out (it's my new favourite of the series since my guys can't DIE FOREVER).

I haven't played 360 or PS3 in over a month. There hasn't been anything released for those that interests me.
