Also, I wish my favorite FPS's would stop bothering with single-player campaigns so they could focus on better multiplayer. Planetside 2 has it's flaws, but I open my butt for their dedication.

That's how I feel about the new Battlefield trailer. Sure it looks cool but nobody cares about single player. Put all that time into multiplayer instead.

I've beaten Bioshock Infinite twice already and will soon be attempting 1999 Mode because I really feel I haven't smashed a controller in a good long while. As a writer of complex stories I am in love with this game, the music is phenomenal, the main character has Witt in his name, and my wife watched me play the whole thing through just because it fascinated her as well. It's got flaws, but its got a ton of heart and is fast becoming one of my favorite games of this console generation.

Battlefield without a single player will not make the MP and better or worse. There is a team for the MP and a different team for the SP.

Sounds to me like the folks working on singleplayer need to get busy making maps or, at minimum, coding bots for a training mode because Battlefield 3's SP was embarrassing, even by FPS standards.
Hardcore veterans who poke fun at the game becoming "Medal of Duty" love to exaggerate the game's evolution, but I'm with them when it comes to the game's SP.

I will admit, the Bad Company games had pretty decent SP. Then again, I think Bad Company 2 is the best in the series and would gladly take another entry in that series over Battlefield 4.
I enjoy the large maps with 64 players and vehicles at every turn, but I'm definitely an infantry guy at heart and BC2 nailed that.

They changed the controls for good. The new way is MUCH better.

I'm still not too sure. It might take a while to get used to it; I'm still very much used to the old control scheme.

if they wanted to have more maps or bots it would be there. the only thing that might happen is dlc happening sooner. BF wellhave single player as long as call of duty does because they want mode parody with them.
