Somehow I am reminded of the Family Guy episode where Peter chose the mystery box over the boat. Hehehehe XP

I always forget, but as I was wandering my town, an empty lamp was sitting on a bridge.

Sounds like a set-up for a spooky Animal Crossing story. Did you ever read The Terrible Secret of Animal Crossing, GNF?

Went and popped in my PS1 Disc copy of Metal Gear Solid now that my new PS3 is up and running fine and everything's going good. Man I forgot just how awesome that game is. Of course, it looks VERY dated in comparison to MGS4 which I also have, but it's a great way to get me amped up for the upcoming MGS HD Collection coming out in early November. Already super psyched about it. Two of my favorite franchises (God of War and Metal Gear) are going to be just about fully playable on my PS3 now.

How does that work, playing PS1 discs in the PS3? I knew it was technologically feasible, but are there any problems like there often are playing original-Xbox games in the Xbox 360?

Never encountered any problems with it. But then again, I don't have many PSX games and ones I do are quite dirty and stuff. So yeah, you should be fine.

I put the PS1 disc in the same slot as I put my PS3 discs. AMAZING!

jk, but to be serious, I just played Megaman Legends 1 in anticipation for MML3 (T_T) and the disc worked just fine on my older PS3 model.
