    Beat Guitar Hero 3 today.
    Wow. Just wow.

I had A LOT of fun with Guitar Hero 3. The setlist is really solid and the setlist progression reminds me of a time before Guitar Hero 5 didn't mess everything up. And what made Guitar Hero 3 great was the fact that even the most miserable of songs were a complete BLAST to play. I had fun with almost every song in the game and the experience was just fantastic.

I only have 2 issues with the game: mainly the final boss battle and song unlocks.

I /HATE/ the final boss battle. The thing is, I really enjoyed the guitar battles. My first music game was Guitar Hero: On Tour, and I always found them a blast to play with friends. And the powerups weren't /THAT/ bad. But the thing is that they're not bad when the song is appropriate. The Devil Went Down To Georgia is nowhere near fair in terms of the difficulty curve that was set up in the game. People have complained that GH3 is too difficult, but that's not the case. The case is that the difficulty curve works perfectly until the absolute end and puts an end to your happy career.

And lastly, I don't have a problem with song unlocks in non band titles, because I just like the sense of achievement that comes with unlocking things. But having songs only unlockable in co-op? That's just mean. I really want to play Helicopter, dammit.

    So for now:
Guitar Hero 4 > Guitar Hero 3 > Guitar Hero 6 > Band Hero > Guitar Hero Van Halen > Guitar Hero 5

if you use the unlock all song cheat you can play the co-op songs in quickplay and the final boss battle is mostly luck based yeah
only other problem with the game was that online co-op achievements only count for the host..
and that you actually have to do every difficulty instead of just going on expert for the achievements
my love is like a candle, if you forget me, i will burn your damn house down.

Yeah, I could use the cheat, but that's no fun :P
Wait WHAT?!? That's terrible! How could that even pass as a somewhat good idea (about the co-op)?
And yeah, I'm fine with replaying all the songs in all the difficulties. I was going to do it anyway (to see the numbers fill up).

    Battlefield 3

Played only the first two single-player missions. That was yesterday. I'll play the multiplayer when I can get access to the TV.

Same here. So far the campaign has been so-so. Haven't gotten into multiplayer yet.

The campaign really isn't that great. It's far too short and dull. But hey, Achievements/Trophies.

Yeah, I wasn't really expecting much from the campaign. How unique can a "modern war" setting be at this point in the army FPS genre?
