I have a sudden powerful urge to buy the Sly Collection on PSN. I loved the first and third entries, but never got to play the second one since on both rental occasions, the disc froze up early into the game.

    Time to go digital.

    The second one is amazing.

    Megaman X8

Ok, I guess I'll take back my quip about "every MMX game after 5 sucked." I didn't even know this one existed, but I'm glad I found it. Based on my memory of X7, the first MMX game on PS2 that incorporated 3D environments for the X series, MM X8 is a MAJOR improvement compared to the last two iterations. To my surprise, the voices aren't half bad. The gameplay is back to mostly 2D exploring of a 3D realm, so it's 2.5D.

I enjoy being able to make a team of two members for each mission, so when one of them falls, the other hunter can swap in for him. My original dislike of the new Maverick Hunter Axl back in X7 has turned slightly for the better.

The one in the Deep Roads in particular. That felt like half the game right there.

last one I played was New Vegas. Getting closer and closer to the freaking casinos... I found that the best way to breeze through the game is by ignoring all big monsters such as big scorpions and butterflies...

big scorpions scare the **** out of me.

the mission with the circle was long as hell. go through all 4 floors, then into the fade, then back to the circle tower. it was nice but just seemed too long.

OK, just played Skyrim for like... 20 minutes. Then everyone elsel wanted to play something multiplayer... jerks.

I had previously lost my AV cables at another friend's house and could only use my HDMI at other people's houses, since I don't have an HDTV at my own residence.

Seems pretty awesome, if only I could play it some more.

I can't believe I just Platinum'd Sly Cooper and the Thevius Raccoonus before Sly 2 finished downloading, but then again, no trophies associated with the "beat the clock" challenges made this a cakewalk.
