Killing time until Kingdoms of Amalur comes out. The first review just came out, and I expect to see many more like it.

Been playing Red Faction: Armageddon. Far better than Guerilla.

Oh, goodness no. You know how sick of Guerilla I got? It was like Assassin's Creed 1 on Mars.
Just finished Armageddon, too. 595/1250. Did my first playthrough on Insane in just under 10 hours, so I cleaned up the difficulty Achievements, now I New Game + on Casual to scrape up the rest. Huzzah.

I see. I just really enjoyed the openness and the destruction physics of Guerrilla. Being trapped under the surface of Mars felt much more...limited
Seems like a short game too if you destroyed the hardest(?) difficulty on your first playthrough all under 10 hours. Guerrilla lasted much longer, for better or for worse depending on who you ask.

You end up on the surface within the first half. Still go back down, but...
Well, remember it was the first play. The only way I learned was on the hardest, so I didn't have to revise any strategies from previous plays. Also, there's NG+, Horde Mode, that kinda stuff.Seems like a short game too if you destroyed the hardest(?) difficulty on your first playthrough all under 10 hours.

That's what I meant. Usually the hardest difficulty should make the story/campaign mode of a game last the longest, give or take on your strategies, and with no previous experience, the first time you beat the game was on said difficulty, and in just 10 hours. I'm just a bit shocked at the completion time given the circumstances, and it's disappointing that playing on easier difficulties for a first playthrough could make that time even shorter.

Well, it's the same engine as Guerilla, just a bit more focused on combat.

I've been playing Bioware's recent series again. ME3 is coming out soon so I finished the second game and I'm starting DAO
It was like a bird of rarest-spun heaven metal or like silvery wine flowing in a spaceship, gravity all nonsense now.
LoZ: Skyward Sword
Completed the Eldin Volcano Silent Realm. Things went like this:
1. Get nearby tear by running around flying statue
2. Head up nearby sand slope, get caught by poe, find tear
3. Trigger another poe, get hit by flying statue
4. Restarting, going opposite direction
5. Got lost, lots of fleeing
6. Find all but one tear, timer runs out
7. Find last tear in frantic search
8. On the way back, touch water
9. Flee from statues
