Alan Wake: American Nightmare, no where near as good as the original game, but its still fun, but very repetitive. I highly suggest anyone who has a 360 to go out and buy the original Alan Wake, or get the Games On Demand version. One of the most compelling and interesting games i've played through.

Hey, were a bunch of posts deleted from this thread? I thought I replied to this. Oh well. Enjoy your visit in Skyrim, and watch your knees.

Got Skyward Sword on saturday night, so I've been playing that rather than Rock Band.

Two things I don't like, however: Stamina meter, and the fact that until you get the Beetle, Skulltula's are SO FRICKING HARD TO KILL! I swear, you have to hit it on such a way that it flips over, then you have to get a Skyward Strike ready, and then you have to actually hit it with the said attack, which isn't easy considering it's most likely still swing side to side from when you hit it. Seriously, the very first Skulltula you come across milled me at least half a dozen times.

Other than that, I really love this game so far.

undercut the skulltulas. You'll flip them over and then you can strike them to kill them. took a while for me to figure out.

Yeah that works, but I meant when they're hanging down from the ceiling. That's when they're tricky without the Beetle.

Anyone play Journey by ThatGameCompany? I thought it looked awesome from the first time I saw news on it, but there have been lots of mixed opinions. Personally I haven't played it yet, but if it was available, I would buy it on a whim.

This article talks about the devs going multiplatform, but the currently available titles (including Journey) are under Sony's control for now.

I've seen plenty on it, and given my solo preference in gaming, Journey doesn't get much better than this. Even encountering others online still feels isolated since there are no PSNs and no chat.

Just serene beauty, kind like Samurai Jack when he wasn't kicking ass and just traveling with his hat on.
