Hey Cipher, I have a question about the SH collection: did they leave in the 'easter egg' where Heather can find a letter from James in her mailbox in SH3 if you have a SH2 save on your hard disk? I thought that was pretty neat back on the PS2.

I liked your SH3 and Downpour impressions, by the way. Some of the most insightful things I've seen you write on here.

I don't know, to be honest. Even though I have a SH2 file in my memory card I never encountered that easter egg, even though I went out of my way to look for it. And I only played like 5 minutes into the collection before swearing that I'll only play it until after I beat 3. Which I have, but now Downpour is waiting to be finished

I thought it was an awesome easter egg and feel that more games should have things like that. But my favorite easter egg in SH3 was Harry's journals in the church. I just thought that going to such lengths to add so much to the story and to delight players of the original was just amazing. And thanks for the positive comment. When I enter the game industry, the SH series is definitely going to be one of my strongest inspirations. Even if I don't make survival horror games, there's a lot of lessons to learn from the series.

Limbo was good, but not great. Haven't touched Braid and playing through Bastion now.
