Fez doesn't impress me, to be honest. Journey is def. what Bulz said it was.

Masterful backdrops, atmosphere, music and simple but fun gameplay for those who want to be a part of an experience. It's ****in' art.

Not to be some pretentious artsy guy, but Journey feels more like an experience rather than a game. It packs a short adventure into powerful unscripted storytelling. Making your way towards the mountain seems like a simple task, but ironically, the desert before you is full of life and atmosphere through its landscape. All the while you learn the history and mystery the desert hides beneath its gold and amber sands.

Got Fez after watching the trailer and playing the brief demo, and I must say I'm quite addicted. My collectible/puzzle OCD is bound to take effect for sure.

I also would like to second what has been said of Journey, even though I haven't been able to play it myself. The creators developed the game to make the player feel powerless, since so many games aim to make the player feel empowered. It's not about plot or action or answers. It is about discovery and experience. It really is one of the first games of its kind, and that is one reason why I am so desperate to play it.

Bought Civilization 4 for 2$ it's alright but feels quite repetitive.
It was like a bird of rarest-spun heaven metal or like silvery wine flowing in a spaceship, gravity all nonsense now.

It sounds like pseudo-intellectualist hipster bullcrap, I know, but Journey took my breath away. I happened upon another player after I completed the first section, and working through the game with him was remarkable. There were a few times when we became separated, and that actually tugged at my heartstrings a bit. I wanted to complete the journey together, hell or high water, and when I inevitably found him again it made so happy.

When the game revealed his name at the end, I sent him a message. Come to find out he's from Japan and doesn't really speak English very well, but he got enough out of my message that I enjoyed the experience and was glad to share it with him. I sent him a further reply just saying Thank you, have a good day.

I'll keep coming back to this game. No doubt about it. I'm sure there's a lot more there than you can see in one, two, or ten playthroughs. A wonderful game, a wonderful experience. And since this was thatgamecompany's last of a three-game exclusive contract with Sony, hopefully their next game will be multiplatform

Because take the word hipster out of what I said - "pseudo-intellectualist bullcrap."

That sums it up to a tee.
