I only have the demo so far, and I only played past the first 2 nights, but I agree so far for the most part. My only gripes are the new crafting system (which is really just preference rather than an issue), the controls (which I can (and will) change), the limited map size, and the fact that it's stuck in Beta 1.6 or something until it gets updated.
I just hope that maybe 1.3 can come out on PC, and then 4J can just eventually make one huge update that brings the 360 up to date (or close to it) with the PC.

might actually consider picking this up. I wonder how popular it will be? I ask only because I'm curious if it will go down in price soon.
I have my doubts that Resident Evil 2, or most classic survival horror games, would at all benefit from a dynamic camera system. It's just a particular style, not a design flaw.

Blow yer' harmonica son
Speaking of fixed camera used wrong, so far Silent Hill Downpour has TWO instances of using a fixed camera but does absolutely NOTHING with it >:I

Technically, the last games I played were TF2 and Rock Band 3, but those shouldn't count since I play them too often to be of note.
What is of note is Bastion. I've heard plenty of good things about that game, so I was looking into it. After hearing the Video Game Orchestra's rendition of Lia's Theme at PAX East, I was sold. It took me a while to finally get to playing it, though, because I wanted to do a Blind Let's Play of it in between recording sessions of DK64. Boy, am I disappointed that I've waited so long to play Bastion. The demo just doesn't do it justice, which is why it took so long for me to buy it. The game is pretty good on it's own. The music makes it great. The story just makes is fantastic. I'm looking forward to putting up the vids and finishing the game.

Episode 1 of the Walking Dead game. I liked it, but I'm a sucker for classic adventure stuff like this and my friend likening it to Heavy Rain wasn't as far-fetched as I initially assumed.

I think I'm just about done with I AM ALIVE. I just got back from rescuing the kid's mom at the hotel. That sequence wasn't as hard as I was expecting (frankly the boat was harder). And I am super glad the game didn't resort to the trope of "escort the helpless dumbass through a killing field, and if she gets a scratch on her you lose." The only health you have to worry about when making your way back to the house is your own. It even happened once where she hid behind a corner and said "Check to make sure the coast is clear" -- and the coast really was clear! Not necessarily something I'd expect to see.
Diablo III. So many numbers. Exceptional game
Pretty sure you're just over halfway
That part was hilarious because I accidentally backed up to where she was hiding as a thug was approaching me when she told me to check the area and she just stood there like a clueless NPC. The thug didn't take any notice of her as he walked by and she kept staring straight ahead and standing still

I never understood how finding random numbers could be so addicting, but I have seen the light
