Went outside and played a game called Real Life. Not too hard to get the hang of, but the game is a ***** and takes forever to finish. So many restrictions that you can only unlock with DLC, which you can only get points for with a "job". Way overrated.

Long story short: the actual ending was great for me, but the lack of an epilogue that manages to recap all the significant decisions you made during all the games, as well as ultimately what effect they had on the universe was a complete letdown. Something like the ending to the Fallout games would've been nice. At the very least, let me know what became of my teammates
How I feel for the most part. I'm in the minority in thinking the great flaw of the ME3 ending(s) is the brevity, rather than the content itself. Not that I'm thrilled with the actual content, but I don't believe it's the travesty that some make it out to be (partly because the music and presentation in the final scene is so fantastic). It's just so short, so out of nowhere, doesn't even allow you time to breath.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, a minute long cutscene is simply not enough to close a trilogy of massive RPG's. I honestly feel they should have taken a note from Metal Gear Solid 4, with its 45 minute final cutscene. Don't go that far, perhaps, but at least give a Dragon Age style epilogue (I believe that's what they're doing in the extended cut, anyway).

Most of the job mini games are boring and repetitive.

That's the majority of the reason people think it's a travesty....

The up in arms movement really was annoying, though. I don't play the series, but I could tell some people were taking the disappointing ending way too far.

    Pu Pu Platter of games:

Crash Bandicoot - Only a few gems remain.

Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 - Trying to run a team of Phoenix Wright, Nemesis T-Type, and Zero

Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations - Desperately tried playing as my favorite puppeteer, Sasori, but controlling two beings at one time is a real challenge when so much fast paced fighting is going on and my friends are constantly dashing at my defenseless puppeteer before I can react with my Third Kazekage ally. Also, Sakon's giant wall defense support move is cheap sh**.

Resident Evil REmake - More slow progression and more zombies busting through windows into hallways I'll never be returning to.

Red Faction Guerrilla - How I missed the feel of my sledge hammer leveling an entire EDF district.

Saints Row 2 - Crazier than I imagined. My friend and I made a British transvestite character with pink dreadlocks, a green beard, polka dot tank top, hot pink pants, and Insane face expression.

Plague Inc - A clone of Pandemic, but still fun and challenging. Currently stuck on Fungus.

Played the Spec Ops: The Line demo.

    It's worth the download.

Don't get me wrong, I'd still love it if they changed it, but it's not something I base my life around. It just means I'm deeply disappointed with how that great series ended.

Keep in mind I was only up to date with the controversy the first week it came out- I beat the game in about three days, and checked up on the forums in that time- but at that point, more people were mad about the actual content, and the fact that their "choices were meaningless" than they were the brevity. Even attempt to say that the journey is more important than the destination and you'd be crucified

But for most, it could have been a 30 minute ending and it would not have changed anything. They simply hated what happened, not the lack of detail (which is why I suspect the extended cut won't do much for many).

You should. Disappointing ending or no, easily one of the best video game series out there IMO.

If I wasn't currently playing Planescape: Torment, I'd say ME3 is the best written game I've played in a long time.
