Your Rock Band Epic Fail of the week

When seeing the 'Your Rock Band Victory for the week', I thought I would do the opposite of that since I failed pretty epically on an FC attempt. So, post your Rock Band epic fails here.

Pretty much, I was playing 'Oye Mi Amor' on Expert Bass and I nailed every note except the last note. It's pretty funny looking back on it though.

I finally got my keyboard and after spending some time going through about half of the pro keys training sessions, I decided to tackle a few regular keys goals. I thought that I'd just start off on expert--it couldn't be THAT hard to just tap the keys without having to strum after all.... Then came Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting)....yeah, that was a big ol' 2 star effort lol.

Did the same thing this weekend: different song, X-Guitar, four notes from the end and... -plink-.

Another epic choke - Midlife Crisis Expert Bass. I then FC it on my extra characters profile.

I went and decided to give vocals a try. I figured I could put this on hard and easily hit everything. That was when I discovered that I have the vocal range of a bass-drum and could only hit songs where the vocalist stayed in pretty much one pitch the entire time. (Thank you David Byrne and David Bowie). Even on Easy I was BARELY getting 3 stars. lol.

My Rock Band Epic Fail for the week so far is downloading the entire Billy Joel pack and not even bothering to turn on Rock Band 3 because not even one of my favorite artists in the world makes me want to play RB3 instead of one of my other games.

You think that's bad? I missed one lousy tambourine hit in Free Bird and got rewarded with that sarcastic backhanded consolation compliment, "Strong". Automatic sensitivity sucks, I have to whack the living s*** out of the mic to get it to respond.

I'm thinking about doing that e-cowbell mod Doc_SoCal had somewhere. That oughta send a loud enough signal to get it to trigger, and would put the fun back in these sections. But, that requires the vox box mod he also came up with, which Harmonies makes obsolete. I'll have to make it a Solo Lead Vox Box by removing the extra inputs.

My fail for any and most weeks so far on RB3 is trying to activate overdrive on vocals
** Lets hope we get the closets back, as redoing all the art, colours on clothes/instruments is annoying for all your characters **
