Your Rock Band Epic Fail of the week

While getting some playtime in before work, my cat wrapped himself around one of my feet (I play guitar standing up) and tried to remove my sock. I of course had to pause the game, standing on one foot trying to dislodge him while he hung on with his claws and teeth. Totally ruined my combo of course.

I am a fair "Hard" drummer, but I'm always getting teamed up with "expert gtr & bass players" That being the case, I have been working really hard on expert drums, and began playing on line with "randoms" on expert and doing ok. Anyway, getting a little ****y I guess...I checked "expert" to play a Linkin Park song with a couple of guys and it wasn't until we were into the song that I realized it was a different song than I thought it was. This was in fact a new song I had just picked up. Needless to say I failed miserably. They had to save me twice. Ugh..I wanted to like crawl into my bass drum and pound myself. I hung my head, went back to playing "hard" for the next few songs even though they were songs I really truly could play on "expert" duh....

Can't 3-star Jerry Was A Racecar Driver on expert bass for the life of me... meaning I can't finish that section of the goal... meaning I can't do the Hall of Fame goal.

Can't 5-star Caught In A Mosh on expert guitar for some other goal... and I just need that one song for it...

Do the hall of fame goal on the hard list, then select expert.

First I messed up an FC of Africa on X Guitar with 10 seconds left, got 2nd place on the leaderboards. Then a good start of OGaP turned into an edging of 4-stars looking at 5.

Epic Fail realization...

I only just yesterday turned on the numbering for pro guitar.

It made such a huge difference I was blown away.

Now prepare for daily epic fails where you consistently forget to turn chord numbering on and don't realize it until the first chord of whatever song you are playing... At least that's what happens to me without fail every single time I play

My epic fail of this week... I think I played too much pro guitar while my wife was on vacation, my left hand isn't feeling so well, so I need to take a break. Got up to #41 on the pro guitar xbox leaderboard for on-disc songs (from 70ish last week), but not sure it was worth the injury.
