12/21/10 DLC Discussion - John Lennon's "Happy XMas (War Is Over)" and 9 EU Singles

Finally some european love. Even if everyone is complaining about that, I'm goin to buy Jerk It Out (MAYBE) and Fantasma and the Litfiba song. Finally some good italian stuff.

Oh, cmon guys, can't you just be happy for us euros once? You get american music like 51 weeks a year and this one week makes you all complain like little wimps.. sorrys to be so drastic in my expression, but i have never seen such a bag of intolerance at one place.

Damn, what do I german guy like about american country music? Nothing. There have been huge Country packs - have you seen any euros complain about that? Or Euros telling harmonix that their songchoice sucks? I mean, it is bad enough that people complain about songs they don't like in general, though they could just ignore them and say - hey, somebody else might like it.

But sentences liek "HMX pulled of an Activision" is so narrow minded that it makes me shiver all over.

Ever thought of the possibility that more Euro DLC might help getting a better stand in Europe which means more sales and more money for HMX to license stuff YOU like?

A Euro -Pack was way overdue! Hoping for more to come.

Harmonix finally listened to requests. They finally gave us a week with singles and modern music. They just did it in a hilarious way.

They also forgot to include good songs, shame.

Yep , but singers are the minority here. And on top of that, many even humm english songs and don't sing the words...

Also: I can't see where german, french or italian is gonna mess up your drumming score. And still, you could just ignore and not buy it.

Well said. The Euro tracks may not be for me (who knows, I haven't heard them yet, and I'll make my determinations after listening), but I'm not going to put them down because Europeans haven't got a tonne of love from RB over the 3 years it's been out.

Well I'm not really complaining about it, just expressing why we might not want foreign language songs. I don't mind having a break from buying DLC, there has been a lot of good DLC since RB3 came out up to this point.

Eh, I know that. I'm italian and I've been singing English songs for over an year now. Was about time to let us sing in our language.

The Lennon track is good although I do not know how much fun it will be to jam to.

Not so sure about the other stuff. Looks like I will pass which will give me some extra funds to maybe pick up some legacy DLC. Thinking of snagging AFI - Miss Murder, and STP - Paper Heart.
