Great mix of tracks and love seeing more Hives. I'll be grabbing all three.

Very happy another Hives song is being added. I wasnt much of a fan because of that Damn Cartoon Network music video they play everyday, 4 times an hour. Any day I stay home from work, and my remote control is lost from drinking and watching late night adult swim-fests, I'm forced to watch that horrible song...

...anywoo, like many have said before me, "Main Offender" has definatley opened my eyes to the Hives. It was the first song I 5 stared on the drums/expert, and has a small place in my heart.

As for the Iron Maiden Cover, I hope its as good as Run to the Hills, because I broke my drumsticks during that song (I videotaped it, and it was HILARIOUS, and will be on Youtube as soon as YouTube stops being foolish...). And The Stone Temple Pilots? I didnt recognize the name of the song, and I YouTubed the video. As soon as it started (Past the Black and White phase), I instantly got it. I think this will be the first time I buy all 3 songs in one week (Since the Metallica Pack Dropped...but that doesnt count).

Any word on the Metallica tracks BTW?

Kudos HMXSean for the update. I usually have to wait until the day of. Now I can plan out my budget around RockBand DLC! Awesome! One more reason to be poor!

SEAN! I never pegged you for a facial hair newb...we all know the first rule of sporting face fuzz is to NEVER shave it off in the winter! That's right up there with 'Never go from clean shaven/light hair cover to bushy face during the hot months.' and 'Any trapped food larger than an M&M is frowned upon.'

Thanks for the update. I like hearing about the DLC before the release date. It gives me that extra day to get fired up about it. Nice selection, although I'll probably only get the STP song for now. One of my favorites from the 90s.

The Hives song surprised me. I'd heard a few of their songs aside from Main Offender (and liked them, unlike Main Offender), but I'd never heard this one. Going to be picking it up.

The Stone Temple Pilots song sounds vaguely familiar but I don't really remember it. I'll probably pick it up because it's a good change of pace from the other tracks and sounds like a blast to play.

As for Number of the Beast? I'm pretty sure that was downloaded yesterday.
Yes, I'm a bit of a dick. That being said, you'll only notice when someone deserves it.

Thanks for giving us a heads up on DLC, Sean. It'll be great to be able to check here every monday for what's going on.

Also I'm super excited about "Number of the Beast". Giddy even.

Another winning week for our household. I'm no metalhead by far, but I enjoyed listening to Number of the Beast in GH3. Based on the treatment RB has given other songs from GH3, I'm confident this will actually be playable (albeit challenging) at my skill level (Hard.)

Interstate Love Song is another easy buy. When my wife and I were making our song list for the homebrew GH2 way back when, this was one of the first songs added. That makes 7 of our 40 tracks to make it into RB in one way or another.

The Hives? Well, Main Offender is one of our least favorite tracks in the game, but I'll give the new song a listen on Youtube later and we'll see... At these prices, I'll always give something a fair chance before deciding. Edit: After listening to the song once on a video, I'm not exactly swayed to purchase it. Could grow after other listenings, but right now it's not promising. Still, 2 out of 3 is always good in my book...

Great choices this week. Interstate Love Song was the top STP song I wanted and The Hives have some great songs. Put all of 'Veni Vedi Vicious' up for DLC!

Here are the songs for those unsure.
