I have a ddrum 100 series DD1 electronic kit and I just got the MIDI Pro-Adapter; I plugged it in and thus far I can get a weak reaction from the cymbals but absolutely nothing from the toms or kick pedals.
Can anyone tell me what it is I might have to do to make this work on Rock Band 3? Or is my kit not capable of that?
Have you tried adjusting the threshold thumbwheel on the MPA?
Hi, I have an Ion iDM05 electronic drum set and just bought the Midi pro adapter. So far I havent managed to get any response in Rock band 2/3 using this drum set. The Midi input indicator LED is dark all the time even when hitting any drum (the LED on the drums however indicates every hit on any drum).
This drum set is USB-powered and works fine on my computer with the program VRDrum and also in DTXMania.
I dont know what kind of signals the drums are sending or if you can change them somehow...
Any help will be appreciated.
My M-Audio Axiom 61 (originall Axioms) works great including the pitch wheel.
Can you use a PS3 MadCatz Keyboard with the 360 MIDI adapter?? I want to play RB3 on 360 now, but I don't want to buy another keyboard...
If you don't already have the 360 MIDI Pro Adapter and MIDI cable I think you might be better off selling the PS3 keyboard and buying a 360 keyboard. Keyboards seem to be down to about $60. The MPA is still $35+. A MIDI cable is $5 to $10.
The PS3 keyboard should work with the 360 MPA except I don't think the OD button on the keyboard will work. You will of course be completely wired.
