Everyone is acting so surprised. MadCatz historically has made garbage. Can anyone really say that they would rather buy a MadCatz controller over say a Sony controller? No way. They can't even get the microphone right. I had to take back the cymbals three times to finally get a functioning set. GameStop was so fed up with me that they told me I couldn't return them anymore and had to deal with Harmonix, the manufacturer. My goodness. GameStop should offer some kind of video game courses. If I work at Home Depot, I better know something about tools. If I work at Taco Bell, I better know how to make a burrito, and if I work at Game Stop, I better know something about video games!

In all honesty, I love RB3. Even with the numerous glitches HMX refuses to patch. VOCAL OD for one! This breaks the game and they could care less. I like all the new features. It just reflects so badly on HMX that they continue to partner with the wrong companies. The peripherals have ALWAYS been a problem. The drums double hitting. Then the bubbling. There are so many problems with the drums that I can't even list them all. Guitars could never activate overdrive. Sync issues. The list goes on and on. It has been four years or so since RB1. To me, that seems like plenty of time to get it right.

Edit: Not sure where people are getting that the midi adapters are discontinued. I just checked Amazon and it say they will be available for the xbox 360 on Feb 28.

well the last set of rock band instruments made by harmonix a lot of those issues were fixed, with the Beatles set i ran into no issues. over drive worked fine (that i really only felt in the rock band 1 wireless guitars.......) drums held of well(no double hitting, or anything like that. So maybe you just got all the bad lucks of the draw......

its not just the midi pro adapters, most of the things people are finding discontinued are the guitars/ drum sets. But i hate to say this madcatz you really suck, and i am completely flabbergasted that the 360 midi pro adapters are going for a $100 of of ebay That is just insane you guys are not supply enough stock so people are now willing to buy it off ebay for $60 more than retail. that is just completely ridiculous

Ordered from GameStop when they had 20% off all accessories, meaning the 360 Mustang and cymbals.

The Mustang arrived on time, the cymbals are still backordered. But, I will gladly wait for a batch of cymbals that don't double-hit. Pro Guitar/Bass/Keys is taking enough of my time.

Hopefully I get pro drums here at Finland but no seeing of any kind of midi pro adapter in here! I'm totally pissed off because I have order it in November and still nothing.

Please I mean I don't care if it going to cost some more I still buy it if harmonix would do their own midi adapter for my CASIO C-34 Keyboard

Update from Australia. Pre-ordered mustang, pro drums, game and keyboard. About 2 weeks after game release had mustang and drums. Keyboard about 3 further weeks. Haven't had problems with any of the instruments. My only complaint is paying close to $800 aussie and us dollar about the same at the moment. Now we have no mention of the squier or even if we will get it? As for madcatz i'd really like an overdrive pedal for the mustang and who on earth is going to pay $120 just for the microphone stand! I did get the mics, keyboard stand and have on order the midi adaptor all from rb store/amazon as none of this stuff is avail here PS3 versions

When will the cymbals come to GameStop so I can get the discounted price? They seem to be available everywhere else, even on the GameShark website.

    Mustang Pro Guitar in UK

Can Madcatz give me any idea when the Mustang Pro Guitar will be available in the UK again? I've had one pre-ordered on Play.com for 2 months and they have zero information about when they'll be back in stock. I've also looked regularly on Gamesharks UK site and that's just said "This item is backordered" for the last few weeks.

    Madcatz ordering fail

I ordered mine(pro guitar) via the gameshark store. It comes with the precision bass for free but since the free bass is backordered I cant get the damned guitar either. They should do a solid and ship it separate or at least answer my emails.
