Everyone is acting so surprised. MadCatz historically has made garbage. Can anyone really say that they would rather buy a MadCatz controller over say a Sony controller? No way. They can't even get the microphone right. I had to take back the cymbals three times to finally get a functioning set. GameStop was so fed up with me that they told me I couldn't return them anymore and had to deal with Harmonix, the manufacturer. My goodness. GameStop should offer some kind of video game courses. If I work at Home Depot, I better know something about tools. If I work at Taco Bell, I better know how to make a burrito, and if I work at Game Stop, I better know something about video games!
In all honesty, I love RB3. Even with the numerous glitches HMX refuses to patch. VOCAL OD for one! This breaks the game and they could care less. I like all the new features. It just reflects so badly on HMX that they continue to partner with the wrong companies. The peripherals have ALWAYS been a problem. The drums double hitting. Then the bubbling. There are so many problems with the drums that I can't even list them all. Guitars could never activate overdrive. Sync issues. The list goes on and on. It has been four years or so since RB1. To me, that seems like plenty of time to get it right.
Edit: Not sure where people are getting that the midi adapters are discontinued. I just checked Amazon and it say they will be available for the xbox 360 on Feb 28.
