$150 at gameshark for some drums though? Dam! Another $50 and you can get some ions w/o the cymbals with free shipping (in the US).
Them guitar prices are on point though. I'm diggin that.

About 1.5 years ago, walmart was liquidating RB2 drums (no cymbals). $12. There were 3 dozen on the shelf.
I'd be a millionaire if I'd of bought them all up.
[QUOTE=gamer1st;4587450]It won't help with Pro mode, but you may want to switch regular play on bass and guitar to the Wooden Fender. ...
I have looked online at the wooden guitars and they seem a better option than the plastics. Again, here we are at a crossroads. Spend more money on same platforms or upgrade to real play modes.
Since my last post I have lost another guitarist to Rocksmith. People here seem to be swithching in an attempt to 'keep it real'. The nice thing about Rocksmith is that you can plug any REAL guitar in to any platform.
I see that Gameshark Canada has the wooden candyapple red strat on sale for $99. With shipping and GST it comes to $123.30. Not bad but we still want the Squire.
Mad Catz, please fix your supply and distribution problems soon before you lose more potential customers.
Harmoniz, this affects you too. No hardware = no playing your DLC!
I own two of them (the second one I only bought because I couldn't resist the $60 bargain; at least they're two different finishes). They're excellent and I highly recommend them. (I see that gamesharkstore.ca actually has both finishes on sale). I only own one plastic guitar controller now, which I bought solely for auto calibration.
I've seen posts by people in this forum saying "goodbye to RB" because they're going to play Rocksmith instead. I do not understand--I have RS and while it's very cool and an excellent guitar learning tool, it is not much of a game and it's primarily a solitary activity, though I suppose you could play while others in the room watch. It does have a lame looking 2-guitar mode. It's user interface is frustratingly crappy.Since my last post I have lost another guitarist to Rocksmith. There are professional guitarists who love the 5-button guitar games. My enjoyment of them is completely different than what I get out of playing a guitar and RS in no way replaces RB for me.
You can get one, if you're willing to pay rip-off prices for one of the few still available. It's not being produced anymore and it's not coming back....we still want the Squire.

I have an RB3 Fender Mustang for sale on eBay. Would it be okay to link to it here, or is that considered bad form?![]()

On a tip from these forums, I checked a local "Computer Bytes Goodwill" store.
They had 4 sets of RB1 drums and some GH guitars.
Interesting to see. No RB2/RB3 drums though.
