Largest concert venue locally is about 600 people, so 2500 is pretty large - possibly larger than any place I've ever seen a concert at.

My average concert venue is about 1-2000 people, with DTE Energy Music Theater and the Palace of Auburn Hills, both at about 20,000 people, being my largest. Smallest is probably a place by my house called The Loft.

Next month i am going to Calgary to see Foo Fighters and Cage The Elephant next month. Saw Foo Fighters in May, and it was awesome, so this should be even better, since now i actually like two of the bands performing.
Total songs as of 11/2/11: 719 (needs update, now over 800)

Yeah, I know, I never called it small, I called it smaller compared to PNC which can hold up to 17,500 people. Starland is a dwarf compared to it even though it's considered a pretty big venue itself.

My problem with PNC is that unless you have seats, the lawn sucks bigtime. You have these two giant pillars in the way, so if you want to see the stage at all, you have to either go right in the middle or on either of the two corners. And of course everybody crowds to these areas so you have to get there very early to get a decent spot. My friends said the seats are beautiful but I never had enough money to afford them. But that doesn't matter, I rarely go to PNC anyway because Starland is so much better (even though they are very strict there with drugs and alcohol), $10 and you can get right to the stage and overall it's a much better concert experience.

    Pro: Opeth's coming over soon.
Con: I've known about this for a while, but was on the fence about deciding to go, so it might be too late.
Pro: My birthday's coming up, so I wouldn't have to pay for it.
Con: They're also playing on my mom's birthday, and I don't think I'd want to go on that day.
Pro: They're coming on a Saturday, and she works that day anyway, so it would be good for me.
    Con: See first con

    Ah well, maybe next time.

Saw Foo Fighters and Rise Against last night, both bands were awesome, and The Palace was absolutely packed. I will absolutely see Foo Fighters again, they played for 3 straight hours, and sounded fantastic.

It rained the whole show, but the Wilco concert in Central Park (with Nick Lowe opening) was completely worth it. Lowe sounded great, and Wilco absolutely killed it.

I'm seeing Descendents, X, Hot Water Music, Plow United, Naked Raygun, 7 Seconds, and Suicide Machines later today. And those are just the headliners.
