It's a pretty wild song on drums.

Well, I was excited for more Graveyard BBQ, until I realized that this is pretty much BBQ Nation set to a faster tempo.

Pretty darn lame if you ask me.
8/9/11 (Def Leppard) will be marked as the best day in RB history for me. HMX, major thanks for all this amazing DLC you put out!

wow... that was really good! you are a great musician. What you are doing here is such a selfless and beneficial thing for complete strangers. It's very interesting and I would says so much about your band.

Because I dislike one song? :P

I love Graveyard BBQ, just not this song. It makes it even worse with it being your uber typical rock n' roll melody/chord progression. Not sure why they'd wanna repeat something like that let alone completely repeat a song.

Are you actually complaining that bands reuse ideas in different songs? Musicians have been doing that since the first caveman picked up a stick and started banging on a rock with it.

I'm complaining because the songs sound too much alike.

Is that not a legit complaint?

Only if you believe artists should never ever ever repeat themselves.

    What was in the complaint?

You know what's funny? Complaining that a band that takes southern boogie, metals it up, and then you don't like it (in spite of being a fan) because it's boring and repetitive. All in a song called Creamskull Boogie. One that pays more homage to surf rock than southern rock anyway. Well, it'd be funny if you were paying attention.

Why would they repeat that? Because it's what they do.

When you repeat the melody and chord progression, at least to me (and I'm sure many others), it feels like I'm listening to the same song. I feel I might as well just listen to one song or the other and that's it.

So no, in that sense, artists should not repeat themselves.

EDIT: Seriously. This shouldn't be that hard to comprehend. I don't want my songs sounding too much alike. You may think the differences in the guitar/bass/lyric/drum work is enough, but it holding the same melody and chord progression makes it sound almost the same to me.
