Broken Talkies in Paradise by the Dashboard Light?

Since I couldn't find any other posts about this I think it's just me, but is anyone else having issues with the Phil Rizzuto/play-by-play section? Nothing seems to register during that part so I fail out every time. I'm playing on PS3.

Not sure if last patch fixed it, but there was/is a known problem where talkies just flat-out don't register. Go back all the way to the main menu and try again.

Try turning down the volume on your TV during the song, and keep the mic quiet just before you start the song.

So is this the problem with the jumpy arrow? My wife was singing on the weekend and it was all over the place. Music too loud? I mean it was not cranked by any means.

I'm on PS3 and I haven't had a problem with it singing solo or harmonies.

As far as i can tell, if you sing harmonies and then switch to solo talkies stop working.

Nope. I got the broken talkies just last night (though incidentally, it was the first time it's happened since the patch).
