    Smile King Tony's RB4 Setlist

Alright, so here is my latest RB4 setlist. I was going to start with a LEGO 2 setlist (which I posted) but I thought about it and really I'd prefer to just have RB4 next. Doesn't have to have anything too innovative, just some tweaks to the new RB3 engine. A few fixes, new goals, new road challenges, etc. The return of World Tour mode (with some tweaks). Maybe the return of Solo Tour.

I think a cool idea would be to have a new Road Challenge pop up every week. It would help a lot with people who think the challenges were over too quickly.

Anyways, here is my setlist! 105 songs total and what do you know, not too 2000's heavy I tried to get some songs in here that I haven't used before and I think almost every song has harmonies. Most have keys of some sort! What does everyone think?

    1950's (1 track)

    1960's (9 tracks)

    1970's (18 tracks)

    1980's (26 tracks)

    1990's (19 tracks)

    2000's (28 tracks)

    2010's (5 tracks)

Thanks! I had a few in mind, so probably will put the others in a DLC pack or something.

Wow, 105 songs? The one I just put up had 98 and I thought that was a lot.

But I like this. Great Scorpions choice, love that Nightwish and Within Temptation are on it, and I remember from your LRB2 setlist that you also realize the sheer vox glory that is Pat Benatar's Invincible.

One thing - I think All Along the Watchtower will be DLC at some point before RB4 comes out, unless HMX holds off on it until afterwards.

Pretty good, but I wouldn't use Don't Stop Me Now. We have lots of Queen already, and the guitarist would be sitting there until the 2-second solo kicks in

And way to much bubblegum pop. Avoiding Amy Whinehouse was one thing, but having to avoid Hanson, Taylor Swift, Coldplay, Britney Spears, Avril Lavigne, and the Bravery would be too much.

It's okay, I think your progressive could be a little more flexible. I would probably move "Bailamos" to POP, world is assumingly, really reserved for purely native music.

Yeah, I think 98 or 105 is a pretty good number actually. Since I added the new genres I had to go bigger or I would be cutting some variety out, which I already had to do anyways.

The Hendrix track could come out before RB4 I guess, but we'll see.

I wanted to get all new bands in with the nu-metal category. It's why I didn't have SOAD, LP, Limp Bizkit, Korn, etc.

Husker Du was a hardcore punk band, but with their Candy Apple Grey album they slowly transitioned to more of an alt rock type band. It was one of the earlier examples along with The Replacements of punk-type bands evolving their sound to more of an alt-type sound (Green Day, AFI, etc).

I thought about this but in watching the video it seems that Brian May is playing something before that solo. Maybe it's just low in the mix? I dunno.

I'll give you Britney, Avril, and I guess Taylor Swift but the others aren't really bubblegum, imo. Check out that Hanson track, it's certainly not "MMMbop"

Fair enough. I guess prog rock really isn't an area where I'm too deeply versed. I'm not sure but Latin might be it's own main genre now, I'll have to check the RBN 2.0 stuff but if it is I'll just switch it there.

Brian May plays more when he plays live so he doesn't get bored, but only live. The studio version has nothing except the solo. Maybe find a live version to put in the list?

And I didn't mean they were all literally in the genre of bubblegum pop, just that there are a lot of bands you'd find on pop radio. A lot of this seems like Lego Rock Band with some extreme metal, which isn't exactly a good combo
