I am 42 and have been playing Rock Band for over 2 years. I try to play every day. Lately, however, I've had to stop to let my thumb/wrists recover. I think I might have arthrits in my left thumb joints and have lost partial feeling in the tip of my left thumb. My carpal tunnel syndrome is getting worse too, which kills me because I'm as obsessed as ever about Rock Band but the pain level is keeping me away.

I try to play everything on Expert, but some songs just hand me my posterior on a silver platter. I prefer bass, but do occasionally like to perform guitar solos.
