    Here I Go Again is not Metal

    Did anyone notice that it is filed under Metal? It should be under rock as it has little to no elements of metal.

    just because the singer never shouts "GROOOOAAAAARRRRRR" doesn't mean it's not metal. This is actually what metal sounded like way back when.

    I'd also agree with classic rock being a more suitable genre although I guess it's hair metal.

    In a related note, if we got The Eagles... some people would complain if they weren't put under Country on a lot of their songs. But the were Rock completely.

    Its what you were when you made the song, not what you would be considered now.

    Awesome. An entire thread debating the genre of one song.



    But I do agree it's not metal, same with the Stone Sour pack, and it's not glam metal either. Arena Rock =/= Glam Metal.
