I think I did the right thing.

I thought this was interesting and I think I did the right thing.

I had pre-ordered TB:RB the game at Best Buy and it came out to be $30 bucks(they had a special going on). When I went to pick up the game they told the guy at the front to give it to me. When I got up there he gave me the $250 Special Edition bundle and so I took it feeling very excited that they screwed up, but then I was feeling guilty as I was leaving so I walked back inside and told him I just bought the game and not the Special Edition and so he gave me a confused look and gave me the game. So thinking back on it today I think I did the right thing.

    What would you have done?

You'd always feel a little bit guilty while playing TB:RB, it would ruin your full enjoyment of the game. You did the right thing.

You did good. Adding to what MurphyRock said, the game will be a little sweeter, serving as a reminder that you took the high road.
It's all right. Everything will work out fine.

Maybe I'm the bad guy here, but that game/bundle is now still probably sitting there. And won't be sold for a while. I am feeling guilty until I get it home and start playing. Guilt taken care of. And also, it wasn't my/your mistake. So I couldn't feel guilty. If I stole it from someone, absolutely. But for someone else' mistake, sorry. Things happen all the time.

But, if you are still feeling like you want the special edition, Kmart has them for btwn $60 - $80 bucks. My local Kmart has 10 for XBOX & 2 for PS3, $79.99. Been like that since the day the PSMOve came out. So almost 5 months. Seriously. I have been tracking them for when the price drops....AGAIN!! Even the store clerk told me "they have been there even longer than that".

right thing, agree with the good Karma coming your way

If you hadn't turned around it would have eventually been noticed in their inventory systems and written off, probably as theft (shrink) and contributed to higher costs to consumers over time as eventually the store/merchant/manufacturer all make their money.
