i really like the brewers chances. greinke will get closer to his '09 form now that he's outta kc. marcum gets outta the al east, where he did pretty admirably, and now goes to the nl central where the lineups are not nearly as demanding. squeeze in gallarado in between those two guys and wolf at #4 and i really like that staff. and the lineup will rack up runs in bunches. i don't see them going under .500 at all.

agreed, but don't focus on wins (****, having Albert Pujols alone probably gives your staff an extra win per pitcher), which are a near-useless statistic. focus on the fact that the Cards just lost a pitcher who gave you over 200 IP the past two seasons while striking out over 200 hitters both seasons. his WHIP last season was pretty delicious as well.

    huge blow to the Cards.

yeah i would say 88 wins might win that division. it will be an interesting race there nonetheless.

Zack Greinke may start year on DL

79 wins for the Brewers may be generous at this rate.
