Wow Jhonny Peralta and Asdrubal Cabrera got robbed. Of course Jeter gets an AS spot instead of them, that makes complete sense!

The vote for the starting lineup has always been a popularity contest though, and when it comes to name recognition, Jeter has both Cabrera and Peralta beat by a long shot. It may not be the right way to vote, and I'd agree with you on that, but it's the way most people vote. At the very least, Cabrera did get a reserve spot.

Glad to see Reyes and Beltran on the NL team, though.
