i would take mccutcheon over beltran as well because i think he's a better overall player at this point. he played well over 30 games batting lead-off which would explain why the RBI difference. the thing that probably hurt clutch is that he had a very crappy april but then had a terrific june. beltran has at least been consistent.

It's certainly not clear-cut that Beltran deserved the nod over McCutchen, but I'd say it's a toss-up between the two guys.
when all else fails, i look at who gives me more value in a fantasy league lol. right now clutch is # 23 while beltran is #52.
