I wish the Mariners were good enough to start off the season 9-1. As it is they started off the season 6-5 and all but 4 games have been against Oakland. Though to be fair, they are starting out better than the 1-10 or 2-9 I thought they'd start the season with so at least they're somehow winning games.

It is funny that the Angels are struggling though. Maybe there will be some bandwagon jumpers onto the Dodgers as the season progresses.

Holy ****. Bard was clearly out of gas, his fastball had dropped about 4 mph, and had givin up a single and two walks and was sitting at 107 pitches. Bobby left him in to face Longoria and Bard gave up a four pitch walk to walk in the go ahead run and put the Rays up 1-0 in the top-7. He's going to take a major beating on this one.
