Nothing particularly personal Yankee fans, but THANK YOU GOD. Now I can actually root for a team I want to see win in the ALCS, not the team I marginally want less to see fail.
And I've thought of another couple of teams that are higher-than-average on my !@#$ list, though they're probably yet another step below NYY, BOS, CHC, and LAD.
White Sox - solely because over the last two or three seasons, they've beaten the Mariners via ninth inning walk-off home run approximately 743 times.
Indians - same, but worse, because they've used former Mariner farmhands to do it. Shin-soo Choo, Asdrubal Cabrera, and to a lesser extent Ezequiel Carrera are all probably going to have long, extremely productive Major League careers, and for them we got half a season of Eduardo Perez, a season and a half of Ben Broussard, and half a season of Russell Branyan. All we need now is for Luis Valbuena to start socking dingers, but of course he'll only do it against the Mariners.

So... it was Fister that ruined the Yankees in the end. Ouch.
Santa Claustrophobia: Be careful what you ***** for, you just might get it.
Hope the D-Backs win this one. No rooting preference whatsoever in game #2.
Okay, now that the Phillies are out, I'm fine with whoever wins the World Series this year.
Quite the pitching duel in that game, though.
I do not want Yuniesky Betancourt in the World Series. Go Cardinals. And I think my AL rooting preference is clear![]()
Yankees out, Phillies out... awesome. We're actually going to see a new face win the WS this year. I'm also pulling for the Brew Crew to win it all.
