The defending champs beat the team with atrocious new uniforms, the score 4-1. Yes, those Marlins uniforms look as bad in highlights as they did in in those pictures which is funny that they trotted out to the field in them when more than 40 people come to watch them play.

Nice outing for Johan Santana, shutout for 5 innings is a good sign that he's back to health.

Mets continue to dominate opening day and the way my schedule worked out, I finally got to watch their opening day game for once. Too bad this'll probably be the only thing they dominate all year.
